“Didn’t get much from the guide- he dropped us at the top of the gorge and picked us up at the bottom. It would have been nice to know that it’s possible to buy breakfast and water at the start, and buy more water halfway down. I got some information from other reviews, but think the description could be better. That being said, the gorge is a very nice hike and we are glad we did it. Don’t expect any information about it from the guide. I personally did not get much from going to the beach, others may .”

“I loved that this tour picked me up and dropped me off at my hotel. Ingrid was an incredibly informative guide who was funny and supportive. I have no clue how Nikos, the bus driver, navigated the narrow streets, but he got us there and back in safely and comfort. The hike is fairly straightforward and down the whole way, so not challenging on the heart. It’s very rocky the whole way though, so footing can be tricky, but totally doable by almost everyone. Cool mountain air in the morning, easy hike (but not too easy) with impressive views, birdsong, spring flowers, and the smoky smell of roasting lamb on a spit coming from who knows where. “Pick up was on time and the journey to Imbros around an 1hr The guide was great and gave us lots of information in particular on what to expect on the walk, our meeting places and restrooms. Good walking shoes are essential and take a warm top as it was a cold wind at the top of the gorge. The walk through thee gorge was about 10km according to Strava. We started Strava from the bus. There is no guided tour through the Imbros Gorge itself, we were going by ourselves and the guide was the last one to exit the gorge, which is ok since there is no other exit from the gorge.
