The tasting of Raki and olive oil etc was amazing as was the lunch stop with food to die for! I highly recommend this trip, even as a young traveller it was well worth it.”

I absolutely loved the day... might have given slightly less time at the mill and slightly more at Knossos but overall timings were pretty spot on. “Much information on the history of the dragon fruit in Greece. It’s a very new product and I knew nothing about it. Also much information about the 2500 olive trees onsite. A lovely snack of breads, olive oils, dragon fruit tea, honey and yogurt presented in a beautiful setting overlooking the orchard. Was relaxing and informative.”

The guides took us through the whole proces of making every dish, we learned new techniques and overall it was a lot of fun. I will make these recepies at home for sure. We had leftovers for the next day. The open kitchen makes it that it's not boiling hot, a big plus.”

“It was a really fantastic tour for many reasons, here are a few highlights. It was easy to find the tour, where we were greeted by George who gave us a tour of the grove to start. George is enthusiastic, speaks fantastic English and is incredibly knowledgable about olive growing and processing. After the tour of the grove and the mill, we entered the tasting room where we were treated to delicious olive oil, and many local Cretan ways to enjoy it including breads, cheeses, fruits, yoghurt, honey and herbs. Under George’s guidance we tried many variations we would not have thought of before and thus discovered many new flavors…”

“Simply fantastic. We learnt a lot about farm life in Greece, got to try milking some goats and I cuddled a baby sheep. It’s difficult to pick one highlight of the experience - the taste testing was fantastic and I’m gutted that I can’t buy the produce from Germany! A fantastic family owned business, the tour was done with warmth and humour and the cheese was simply outstanding. Well worth the money!”
