He filled our afternoon with cultural, geological and historical information and answered all of our questions while keeping our conversations enjoyable and engaging. We were warmly welcomed into the home which was beautiful and full of old family photos. The house and the views are stunning. The old home has been beautifully restored including a gorgeous bathroom designed and built by our host. The cooking lesson was so much fun! “Perfect from beginning to end. Our driver/guide Nico was excellent. Picked us up on time, gave good commentary during drive, was an excellent translator for the cooking instructor and chef. The tour itself was well paced alternating between meal prep and walking the property learning about area and history. Our cooking instructor was delightful, easy to follow and made the whole experience fun. Our finished meal delicious, the property was beautiful and everyone made us feel so welcome. “My husband and I decided to do this cooking class as a part of our honeymoon trip. Though we did not realize it originally, it was a private cooking class just for us! It started off with a tour of the village and some history about the traditional Cretan way of life. The food we made was all amazing and tasted fresh, we just made so much it was hard to eat everything!
